Sept. 10, 2010 Riverside Oasis RV Park Moab, UtahSept. 10, 2010 Riverside Oasis RV Park Moab, Utah

Since we have a great internet connection here, we uploaded pictures to yesterdays blog.

Today was a long driving day thru the mountains with unbelievably beautiful scenery! We stayed on I-70 going thru Glenwood Canyon most of the way here till the last 100 miles or so, but it certainly wasn’t like I-70 we are used to thru Illinois. Steep grades up and down (6% & 7%) right out of Denver. The whole canyon didn’t have any steep drop-offs at least, just sever ups and downs and beautiful sheer rock walls. The last leg of today’s drive followed the Colorado River thru a canyon that seemed to twist and turn back on its self. The mountains surrounding the canyon were breathtaking. We’re staying in a very nice RV park right beside the Colorado River and will be here for 3 nights while we do some sightseeing in the area the next couple of days. We took quite a few pictures, but I doubt if they will do it justice.
